Procedure

From the moment you file your inquiry with Van Manen Draaikransen either by e-mail, fax or over the phone, you can expect that we put all our efforts in helping you with your slewing ring. We will help you indentify and inspect your slewing ring. As soon as a solution is found we will write you a quotation.

When you have ordered a new slewing ring, based on availability, it can be delivered to you or you can have it picked up at our warehouse. If your slewing ring is brought to us for inspection and reconditioning we will soon start the inspection on it. Right after it becomes clear in what state your slewing ring is, we will tell you if your slewing ring can be reconditioned.

During the reconditioning process the hardened raceways will be machined. By doing that, new rollers, balls and seals, a smaller clearance will assure that your slewing ring can work for a long time again. In the case your slewing ring is not found fit for reconditioning, in some cases a emergency repair is still possible. Just as the possibility of reproduction.

Ask for these options if this is required for your situation. When your slewing ring is reconditioned by us it can work again for a long time. If you have any questions before or while mounting your new or reconditioned slewing ring, we will be glad to answer these for you.

From ordering to processing and delivery

As soon as you let us know your slewing ring is coming in for reconditioning we will enter a workshop order in our system. From that moment on the work shop manager will schedule the works on your slewing ring.

And directly after your slewing ring arrives at our yard we will start on inspection as written in "reconditioning slewing rings". After inspection we will continue with the reconditioning or we will inform you about the state of your worn slewing ring.

When the process is completed the inspection and reconditioning report will be completed and we will prepare your slewing ring for transport. Your slewing ring can now be mounted on the application and will work according specifications again.
